They're taking our Super!

The fuel importers have decided that they will no longer import super unleaded (98) which leaves everyone with the option of 95 or diesel. Obviously not gonna put D in the supra but how badly is 95 going to effect the car?

It's only in The Channel Islands so most of you guys don't need to worry

Considering how many top end cars there are in the Channel Islands that will need higher octane fuel, this could be an issue for those owners. Do octane boosters really work? What about Shell, their main push for years has been on V Power.

That would be nice but unfortunately they didn't think of that!

To be honest if I ran a business I'd go for the majority and the fact is the majority would rather pay less and have Unleaded rather than Super.

One way to sort it out would be to invest in a stand alone ECU like the Syvces and get that mapped for 95 with a map for 99 when available.

As they're the only importer people would've had to buy the Super so it would if been a win win (for me and importers)

As to the syvecs buying, getting someone to install and then map would be costly.

Someone could just give me 10k, ill give them my car and then buy a different one myself
