Silly question but how do I remove the CD Tuner from my Supra? It's a standard head unit but appears slightly wider than the fascia. Do I have to remove the plastic dash front (around the wheel etc) to get to it?

Unscrew, unplug and remove the top dash piece, the bit that contains the Odometer.
Pull off the the singe piece covering the Speedo, Rev Counter, etc.
Unscrew, unplug and remove the main dash panel.
You will then be able to see where to undo the head unit.

Thanks (and yikes!). I want to connect my ipod to my tuner, think I'll check the manual first in case it doesn't have an aux socket.

You can get wireless FM-modulators you know :) So you wont have to undo the cd/tuner :) Im NOT saying this is your best option in any way...just a simple solution...IF...you allready are considering using a wired FM-modulator :)

Start by removing the ash tray.
Think there's a screw there.
Remove the trim around this and gearbox.
take the top bit off (odometer bit as said above)
the panel surrounded the aircon and stereo will come off.
That's about it from memory.

The stereo sits in a metal cage which is unscrewed.

See my gallery and internal pics of the black Supra to see a (blurry) pic of my dash in pieces!

It's not all that difficult, all the panels just clip together in order.
