Is it necessary to cut Superpro bushings to fit on the rear suspension arms and rods?

I had all my bushings replaced to Superpro which I had bought from a group buy on here. After only 1000 miles of driving I noticed a strange noise coming from the driver side rear wheel which I thought it could of been the wheel bearings. I bought some wheel bearings and asked my new mechanic to replace it, while he was replacing the wheel bearings he found there was a bad bushings and told me that the noise that the car was making actually was coming from this bad bushings which had been cut along the ways to facilitate fitting it.

The mechanic who fitted the bushings is actually a member on here but do not wish to name; he told me on the phone just now that he saw on the forum that it was necessary to cut some of the Superpro Polythene bushings to fit them in the rear of the suspension. But I find that hard to believe since if that was the case why didn't the bushings come cut from factory?

You don't need to cut anything no.

If they needed cutting I would imagine that SuperPro would have precut them.

So I am guessing that as they dont come precut that they are not supposed to be cut.

I know that was the case when I had R2 bushes done on my last Supra (no need to cut them).

It's tough here in Portugal, the labor is cheap compared to the UK but I more often then not end up paying more to put things right..! Funny enough though even though Portugal is in a bad economic crisis these performance car garages always seem to be packed with cars; the wheel refurbish company that I used 'casa das jantes' said they receive 300 wheels a day and they ruined my Volk wheels 'mainly' the front and I've been dealing with them for over a year now the wheels have gone back 4 times in that time and they still insist in returning them the same way I sent them 'leaking air'..! I might have to ask speedwells to sell me a franchise so there is a wheel specialist that can get the job done properly...!

Definately don't need cutting, Speedwells franchise in Portugal sounds good to me ;)
