photoshop enginebay colour change

hey guys im getting ready to strip and paint the enginebay ect...

i was wondering if someone could help by making my enginebay the colour i have here ready.

i just need to make sure it will look right before i do it along the wings ect...

hopefully these photos are good enough but the colour needs to be the same if its possible

the car is filthy i need to give it agood clean

If your taking the engine out ect, why not paint it the blue? would look naff in that colour imo

If your doing a full loom tuck and get rid of all the life support stuff then it might work. Alot of civics and VW's do it, not my cuppa tea though...

yeah mate the fusebox and battery will be in the boot and the loom tucked ect..

i was thinking something abit different than the usual bodycolour and black, i will eventually be going single turbo too

Seen this pic on an S14 with a single 2JZ and gold bay the other day...looks good with black IMO, but not sure it'll work with blue!?

I think if you tie in other things with the colour, it will work, like wheels... intercooler pipes look cool too. Not something i would want but then not everyone would want what i have.. best of luck matey

didnt think of the intercooler pipes, maybe the bottom ones by the intercooler can go gold but keep the top ones in the engine bay polished.

other option was silver but not too sure, ive sprayed the bottom on an intercooler pipe, its a different gold to the one above so ill have to put it against the car in the side vent and see if it goes. i think it will but the inside of the engine bay will have candy blue and polished parts so the gold bay might make the other parts stand out more which is what im looking for.

To make chrome/polished items 'pop' you cant beat gloss black! but thats sooooooooooooooooooooooooo boring.

Have you looked into lairy colours? lime green would look mad, i do still think the more items you colour code to match then it would work... just the bay wont work

I dont like green either but it was a example. Lambo grey would look hot! and match the carbon bits and bobs.
