FOSTA Posted March 3, 2013 Share Posted March 3, 2013 Ok guys, been wanting one of these for around 3 years but just never got round to putting my hand in my pocket. I've got to start with saying a big thanks to carbon_bullet! He's a real genuine guy and fantastic to deal with! Ok the bonnet itself had abit of damage to the passenger side so with a bit of fibreglass and filler it was back to 100%. I always wanted to paint the bonnet even if I bought brand new as I've never been a big fan of carbon bonnets on black cars. Ive also had the old bonnet pins filled and smoothed but looks like I'm going to need some aero catches for piece of mind. Well here's the pictures: Picked up and safely back at my shop. Pictures the body shop sent me. I had to get a loan of a bigger van so I could safely lie the bonnet down flat for transporting back to the shop. Fitted the bonnet to the car this morning while waiting for the terraclean machine to finish on my scenic The job the body shop has done on the bonnet is first class, but the only problem is the gap lines are slightly bigger then the stock bonnet gaps. It's only a few mm bigger so not that bad. But I guess most aftermarket bonnets would be the same? But other than that I'm a happy bunny!
