What ECU is it running. AEM V1?

150k is already a lot.

What are you plans for it?

i dont know what ecu it is running.

and yes, 150k miles is a lot.

lhd supras are hard to find and the prices are going up and up.

basically i am looking for a mkiv AT and i am thinking of a AT-MT-Swap and refresh the engine.

If its been looked after then 150k isn't so bad and if its way cheaper

than other LHD's then theres plenty of money left to rebuild turbos engine

etc :)

My cars done 136k miles +and the motors sweet and so are the turbo's :)

If thats the case i dont get why this hasn't been snapped up

and thats why i dont trust the hole thing.

if its really a bargain it would be already sold.

i thought maybe somebody of the members who lives next door to the seller and saw the car in person could tell me more about the supra.

Does the value depend on whether it's European spec or North American spec?

not really, lhd supras are very expensive in general over here. independently if its an us-spec or eu-spec
OK... I was wondering if it was much more difficult (or even impossible) to register a car that doesn't have European type approval.

I'd start by asking the seller a few questions and see what response you get.

i contacted the seller and asked a few questions...

For example

Car-History and who many car-owners

Modifications

Services (oil, breaks, trans, engine, timing belt)

Registrations

Rust,

any paintjobs

And accidents...

all i got was:

there are 2 owners in total (i think 1 us and 1 uk owner)

no history ( that makes me suspicious)

the supra was serviced yearly since he owned it

no paintjobs since he got the car

excellent condition inside and out

and i was asking if there is an airport next to him.

he told me to that he can pick me at an airport or train station if i will come to see the car.
