Single Turbo conversion checklist?

Recommended Posts

There are only a few lists of "this is what I've got, what else do I need."

Effectively, I'm looking for a list that comprehensively states what you need for a bare minimum single build, plus recommended extras, that can maybe be made into a sticky, to avoid more threads like this one ;)

Brand names etc are not important, as we all know people get what they can afford and what is suitable for their aims.

Will be worth getting in touch with the traders as they will be able to say straight away what's needed too (including the bits that aren't necessarily at the front of peoples minds), it's a good idea having a sticky with this :)

When I first started my build spec I never realised half of what was needed/advised to be replaced, think my parts list tripled lol, but I do want it bulletproof ;)

Thanks, but not really what I'm after. Although everything is there, I'm literally looking for what is NEEDED, what is RECOMMENDED, and other parts that can be added to make it better.

I'll PM the likes of Paul and Lee, and see what input they have :)

Have you got the single turbo kit yet.

I'm not single yet, but am planning on it in the future.

I just noticed there was no sticky thread on it, and thought one would be beneficial for all :)

Yes, yes it is :D

Thanks very much dude.

I've PM'd Lee and Paul for their input on what they consider the minimum, recommended, and worthwhile extras to be, so I'll see what they say too.

I'll have a trawl through that thread and try and find a comprehensive list, as after a quick look, it seems more like a discussion, than a "this IS what is needed".

Just skimmed through that thread, and it seems to have just died off.

Rather than going by "this is what i have" opinions, I'd rather gain a "professional" opinion (or in this case, two) on what is required, from Lee and Paul, as there aren't many who know better than SRD or Whifbitz ;)
