Club Karting event ?

Hullo chaps.

I'm thinking of organising another event ... and really just posting this up to see what interest there is.

I'm hoping for a enough people to either have

a) Grand Prix (2hr)... probably about £30 per head. Minmum 12ppl. You get probably about 20mins of track time. Grid Starts

b) Endurance Race (3hr).... probably about £150-£200 per team. At least 8 teams. So a minmum of 24 people. More people is obviously cheaper. Depending on team numbers ... you probably get about 20mins - 50mins of track time. Grid Starts

c) Arrive & Drive. £18 for 20minutes. No Grid start.

A few more details.

a) The track is in Swindon

b) The karts come in 2 categories

1) - 160cc Karts for all ages

2) - 260cc Karts for 18yrs and up

i really enjoyed it last time m8 and would be up for anything:D i voted for the grand prix cos it looks like a really good laugh (and im not sure my arms could stand up to an endurance race:p )

Yeah - was good last time. I'm just guessing about the amount of track time in the GP. I know they split it up into:

Practice (maybe 5laps each), Heats (maybe 10 laps .. they're maybe 10 heats - but you get the chance to race everyone), Final GP (Maybe 20 laps - Probably the top 6 or 8 drivers)

I did a GP in Reading - and it was that handled in that sort of way.

All depends on availability of other people Marco. If a rush of people say ... "I'm in." ... then it can be done next month.
