pedrosixfour Posted February 27, 2013 Share Posted February 27, 2013 Its usually just a case of being able to stand on your head and look up your own arse in these situations mate. Sometimes it really is simply a PITA, with no handy way around it. A few spanners, the same size but from different makers tends to help with fasteners in hard to reach spots as the splines in the ring ends are not stamped the same in each one. We've a tool box full of "specials" we've had to make over the years to get things either on or off, spanners cut, bent, pared, split, ground & chewed. mellonman Posted February 27, 2013 Share Posted February 27, 2013 yes one of the biggest pains of the single build, (mainfold depending how bad) but yes as pedro says i got mine done with a cut down bent 14mm spanner , pic your spanner wizely as a too cheap one will snap not bent and a real good one is hard to bend Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
