How much are these rims worth?

Just curious how much dad rims are worth, I have been told previously that they are quite rare?

Anyone got any idea what there worth with the tyres, The rims are in decent condition with just a few marks.

What sizes buddy? Volk F-Zero Challenge if I remember correctly?

Thats the thing I have no idea about the sizes etc etc. They come with the car when dad bought it last year. Theres no reciept in the history that come with the car. All I know is there 18's but they look small for 18's and dont fill the arches very well.

There should be some markings on the rims mate to tell you the size and width eg 9J (width) ET45 (offset). These are usually on the back of the hub or sometimes on the inside lip of the alloy.

I'll have to have a look mate Cant say ive ever noticed writing on them though!

try the rear of the spokes as well mate, there should be a load of size info like this:

Not come across an alloy that isn't marked.

If the original stickers were removed for the refurbishment (which I assume they were) then the offsets, widths and other info will be found stamped into the recess on the back of the rim spokes.

As for the comment about them looking small for an 18" rim I don't see how you came to that conclusion as the F-zero is one of the few designs, along with the Jade R, that actually conveys it's diameter accurately due to the lack of a lip in front of the spokes.

Perhaps a rethink on the colour scheme, more in keeping with the original, would help optimise the design's perceived diameter.

They do look small are you sure they are 18's? I have the same wheels, they're very good quality light weight forged wheels, they'd have cost £2K+ when new.

There tires are made for 18's but they seem small when sat next to a car with 18" rims also, Maybe its just the size.

18s are better than 19s imo especially on a wheel in this style, its all about the width though if their narrow, or non staggered then theyll be worth less money

Nice wheels though, they suit the supra well

I agree with Chris on this' they don't normally, but they look very lost on John's Supra. Probably because of the trial rear I think. I've been trying to persuade him to get Jade's but no luck so far! That set of wheels Jurgen put up the other day would look awesome btw

I would want £600 if they were mine.

The more there worth the less dad can spend on new wheels. If they are as rare as people say then £700-800 would be nice. Then add another £200 on top and youve got yourself a nice set of Rota's
