4 point Cusco would be fine I'd have thought, still would not want to hit your head on it in a crash.

It's only ever my daughter in the back, so she would be well clear of it. Want to start doing some track time next year, and don't want to have to put it in and take it out all the time.

What about just a front section? Main roll hoop at the B pillars & bars down through/around the dash.

That would leave the back free for little people and there'd be no obstacles to contend with on entering or exiting.

You could have a removable crossbar that could be fitted to the main hoop prior to heading to the track to allow the use of proper harnesses. You need to floor mount the lap straps as the original seatbelts would need to remain for everyday driving when the crossbar and shoulder straps wouldn't be fitted.

Sorry, got carried away a bit there but it all sounds plausible and is definitely possible.

If your daughter gets in the back of the car I'd not risk it tbh.

I'm with Jamie, unless you're gonna put a harness in the back for her. Inertia reel fails or she comes out of the belt and she comes forward mate, it'd be worse than her going through the screen!!
