At 70 mph you dont hear it. This is an amazing piece of kit. The guys who sold and fitted it are Warrior Motorsport, near Ipswich. Tel: 01473 831521. dangerous brain Posted October 29, 2004 Share Posted October 29, 2004 As I have said in the past there are a lot of people in the custom exhaust world that can knock you up a one off bespoke stainless exhaust system for a few pennies more or in some cases less than the stock mild steel system. I have found a local company who can build nice cheap custom exhausts and I must admit that I'm considering it. I wonder if you could let me know what persuaded you to go this way rather than getting a brand-name exhaust like an HKS? I seem to remember one of the aftermarket exhausts having a problem regards welding, they were stainless but the weld rusted because it wasn't ? LOL, that's it, it's from a Corsa with a big tailpipe weld on Seriously though, although I'm used to seeing pucka aerospace Tig welding on stainless, that does look a bit shite. I have used autosol on the joins and its all shiny now Anyway to answer Splurge, I used to have a HKS Hyper and this one sounds better, I chose it cos it looked Bling and WARRIOR GIVE A LIFE TIME GUARANTEE. MONKEYmark Posted October 31, 2004 Share Posted October 31, 2004 pics not showing on my non bling computer? hehehe i have been to KWIK FIT today the guy is into drag racing and has got a TRIUMPH TR8 V8 3.5l and runs mid 14`s he has just bought a nos kit for it. he took out my restrictor ring out of exhaust and now its boosting to 1.3 bar seems a bit nippy now. the guy did not want anything to put my car on ramps and take ring out, thats how nice yorkshire people are. gave him £10 for a drink. Paul he wont steal my non bling stock black wheels. i found it hard trying to get anyone to fit the decat pipe. other kwik fit place did not want to know if you dont buy there products. i went up to another kwik fit place and was in escort. i asked bloke how much to fit 2 tyres on my wheels and the silly fooker bent down and started looking at my escort wheels. i said no i have some of my own drag tyres and want them sticking on these wheels.
