Yeah. And surely all the rubber bits that have hardly been used will be perished and need changing anyway? Hoses and stuff too.

If you've got that amount of money to spend on the car, you could spend another £2k recommissioning it with new hoses, bushes etc.

There are plenty of higher mileage cars around for someone that wants a daily driver. For someone who wants something a bit special, for a few weekends a year, this would be fantastic. (note to self - stop salivating! :D )

I don't really subscribe to the rubber perishing argument, consistent heating and cooling will have that affect anyway. If the car is used every few weeks for a run then it "should" be fine. If it's been sat in a garage for 5 years then that is a different matter. If it wasn't for two or three events year, ours would only do around 1500 a year. Maintenance is key as always but the SH should give you some ideas.

Poor photos, bad lighting, misted headlights and Kerbed and unclean wheels. But the body looks perfect from the pictures.

Hmmm i would be worried why it seems to have had 'heavy' use at some point but then was just garaged or something? Maybe im just sceptical about low mile jap cars. Personally i'd want at least the 50,000mile jap run in :p

Your loony if you hand over that amount of cash for a car that might need 2ks worth of work. And then never drive the bloody thing :)

Though you may then be able to sell it in a few years with 25k on the clock and no issues with rubbers etc. for £22k having enjoyed it in the meanwhile... ;)

Possibly the same car that is talked about in post number 100 in this thread?

Whoa.. That's unbelievable if it is!

I have been drooling over both of PB's UK manuals the red one and the white, to think the red one is the one mentioned above is a little.. Off putting to say the least!
