Anti-lag/2-step - on a BPU standalone ECU car?

Can this be set up on a BPU Supra with a standalone ECU like Syvecs? I know it's not a good thing for turbos etc but wondered if it can actually be done with the Twins in TTC mode.

Yes it can, both anti-lag and 2step should be configurable without any additional wiring.

 

As you already mentioned yourself, not advisable on a stock turbo motor, even more so if they are ceramic jspecs :D

 

 

Just to be clear, they work in a similar way but are different :-

 

Anti-Lag : used on sprints and circuits between gear changes to prevent the turbo from spinning down, ie rally cars, hence the pops and bangs going into corners :D

 

2Step / Launch Control : on a NA engine it would just invoke a secondary limiter, on turbo charged motor it allows you to build boost on the line, depending on the ECU it can be as simple as that by retarding ignition etc, or with more complex setups it also includes traction strategies to alter torque to provide maximum traction.
