Well as time goes by these 18 year old car are starting to go rusty, espically this 1 below as most of its life was spent in scotland right by the sea.

So as we have a mint shell my brother (bignum) has decided to keep it and swap all his stuff out of this supra into the new 1.

Here is our progres so far what you think ????

Scotland by the sea!? Where!?

Why did you chop up the shell!?

Cant remember the place we got it but the air was salty and the shell was very rusty.

We chopped it up to make it easier to move around as my unit has 2 other cars in and didnt have enough room to store it until the scrap yard opens so chopped it up as it was in BAD condition and would never have sold it.

Not bad as it was driven in yesterday morning at 11am and was ready to cut up by 4:30pm, we chopped it up today and took 3 hours in total as we still had subframes to remove.

We will be back at the unit on boxing day to take the new shell over and remove and tidy up the old shell, will take pics of what we get upto and the progress of the new build.

It was a j-spec the uk he owned was sold to josh and that was mint NO rust anywhere.

it could have been repaired but unfortunatly there just not worth anything anymore so not worth wasting time and money on as next year it will be rotten again, its the worst supra ive seen to be fair, the whole drivers rear quarter was filler and rot, we think it had had a prang in its previous life and badly repaired.

As we both do trackdays we need strong cars just incase somthing bad happens.

Jesus you brothers rock. Fair play to you for doing this and most importantly not trying to offload a dodgy, poor condition shell for cash - many other people would of no doubt.

Good progress. Can't wait to see this on the track again.

Oh you don`t know us that well then:d, it`ll be back on track soon.
