What wheels to go with...

Hi all, I'll hopefully be buying my next Supra shortly and it's white...I possibly may change the wheels and this will be a first for me as I've always bought the car with a set of wheels on.

Now with white Supra's, getting the wheels right is important as it could make or break the car...in your opinions, what wheels would look good on a white Supra?

I was thinking along the lines of some HRE wheels as they have some nice looking wheels but again, getting it right is the hard bit! :D

If you thinking HRE I guess there is no budget...! I really like the wheels on inferno's car with the carbonfibre center 5 spokes and polished lip.

I'm open to all ideas pal, just testing the water...I've always liked HRE wheels but they are expensive just like Volk TE37's.

The problem is that there's so many wheels to choose from and getting it right is the hard bit... :(

Any idea on the specs of those wheels, nic?

Not sure if reps are your thing but if so.. Varrstoen Track 200 ES2.2.2 (http://varrstoen-wheels.co.uk/wheels/track-200/)

Well worth a look and available in 18×8.5, 18×9.5 and 18×10.5, offsets of 0 to +45

I wanted a set myself but couldn't track any down in the right size/right price. They're quite common in the E46 scene but they tend to run 19"s from what I gather.

Varrstoen look like lovely wheels,i enquired into them a while back for my grey supra, however like you say, its the whole Rep wheel thing and quality that come into it.

sadly with reps you get the owners bigging them up and the non owners slating them so never really get an unbiased review :(

Gorgeous :) Aren't the TE37's very hard to get hold now?

I have been looking at a set of HRE wheels as that's the closest I can get to a set of TE37's...

Nice wheels also but if they only run from 19'' then a little too big as I'm after a set of 18'' :)

Personally I think polished wheels suit a white supra the best. Either deep dish, or mulitspokes....or both :)

You think so?

I was looking at wheels like that (HRE has loads of them but expensive!!)

I like an all white look but also a white car with black wheels looks cool

EDIT: I also find that choosing the wheel offsets are hard too!! I'm after a deeper dish at the rear than the front...has a meaner and more of an aggressive stance :)

Ahhh man just realised that my self :( they would look fantastic in a supra in my opinion though shame they don't do them smaller. What size are you looking for 18?

Yeah gutting isn't it as I do like them! :(

Yeah I'm looking for an 18'' wheel with 275 or 285/35/18 on the rear and 245/40/18 on the front with the rear having a deeper dish than the front. So choosing the offset is a big deal...
