got one of those Kenwood music kegs as i fancied something new, got a sony 1000w amp and 2 700w subs. what's a good head unit with a good user interface which will be compatible with the kenwood keg and will be able to run the 2 subs as well as all the speakers in the car?
any advice will be greatly appreciated. don't wanna spend more than £200 max on the head. cheers

Have you already got the Music Keg, or were you looking to buy one?

Kenwood have now discontinued it from their range :(

Pretty much any of Kenwoods CD changer compatable headunits for the last couple of years will operate it.
If you go back more than 2 years old, it would need to be a unit from the 7 series or above.

Everything from their 8 series upwards has 3 preouts. (front, rear & sub). :conf:

We do stock Kenwood, I'll have a look at prices tomorrow for you. Doubt we can beat the internet pricing on headunits though. Got any model in mind?

I got an old kenwood MD player head unit, 6 CD changer and 2 6x9 speakers up for sale if interested. I know the CD changer would be a bit redundant. got pics if u r interested.
