Bit of high temperture advice needed please

Am looking at painting the rocker covers as have oil leak on one of seals so thought take them off and paint before refit with new gaskets. have looked around where live in peterborough and all can find is high temperture matt black and am after a satin or gloss black really, Can anybody please recommend a good paint and where to get if from please? Have looked on ebay but thought would ask here as know alot of owners take alot of pride and care of their engine bays

Powder coat comes in many colours these days :)

 

The only issue is the one way valve and the seal it pushes into

on the inlet side, powder coat is done at 180 C so that seal might

not cope with that and might be wise to remove it then replace

with a new one.

 

You'll also need to strip whatever is on it off so a chemical strip

in phosphoric acid or horrible nitromors would be req

Dont supose you have the part number for the rubber sleav the inlet pipe go's into do you
