Suprapod 2013 update, add name if interested

just had the santapod 2013 events, no listing that i could see for us ?? is there going tobe one and when.

Branner's said a while ago that they would not give us a summer date, the only date was until right at the end of the Summer, so it was more than likely not happening

like its been said, such a shame! ive only been to the one and loved it. even though i was in a fiesta.

For me this forum goes hand in hand with supra pod!!! If it goes then ill be gutted!!! Airfield day sounds good though

1/2 mile event would be cool, standing mile is silly speeds and can be dangerous.

I'm looking forward to next years MLR 30-130, that always seemed a good event.

It would be such a shame for nothing to happen, ive always wanted to do an event like this especially now I actually own a supra.

Hopefully once dragonball 13 is completely organised and the attendee's have paid something can be organised... Suprapod was brilliant fun, gutted if it doesnt happen next year! Want to try and beat john bailey down the strip

There should be an event similar just finding a venue, bit close to Xmas to get any definite decisions

Years ago I remember they used to have a drag event at north weald airstrip, not sure if its still used tho.

Shakespeare raceway or an airfield day with a handling course, as discussed before, would be fun

I think ill try bring the car and the bike this year would be good to put the bike against some of the singles.

Don't think i'll be back down again TBH. Will see whats on around the time that the event is put on to tie it in with something else

we have the option of the end of march, the start of april or mid october.

None of those dates are really worth considering at this point so Suprapod wont happen this year.

I am looking at other options but Shakespear wont let us do exclusive use and Straightliners ignore every request I send them so its a bit dead in the water at the moment.

Couldn't we have a club track-day style event instead of Santa-pod? Much more fun than driving in straight lines! I'm guessing that would be mega-money though!
