Well thought its time to make my own vented bonnet (doluck style). I have order a centre hump in fibreglass which will be with me tomorrow and i am going to chop up a stock bonnet which i have in the workshop. I have owned a genuine doluck which fitted shockingly! dont even go there... i then owned the nur-luck carbon copy and i wish i never sold it. SO, now im going to take my time and build my own. Im going to brace the bonnet alot to advoid any flexing too.

Ill post pics tomorrow when my hump arrives.

Good luck mate, was curious what type of vent you where talking about, didn't expect yo to be going for a doluck one for the third time :D Good choice though you should have fitted your previous one, reckon it will really suit the front end on yours.

Well technically its doluck style! going to build it myself as a one-off! im more interested in getting air into the bay, especially with 2 hot twins in there

Should be fine.. we are a bodyshop so confident in what we are doing

So are we lol, I'm just saying its a pain.

Were mounting TS vents to the underside of an ally bonnet for that deeper look and moving them forward slightly no need for aerocatches for a less cluttered luck, so a little different to what your doing.

Well after a few cups of tea and us in the workshop floating ideas around, we finally took a cutting disc to the perfect black stock bonnet. I have a GREAT plan in which to do this bonnet. We are going to bond the hump straight onto the stock bonnet skin BUT just have the front cut for the vent. I think Jamie will back me up on the nur-luck bonnet about the underneath looking messy, so the way im doing mine it will keep everything stock looking underneath. The vent has got cut in the hump now and has gone great!

Still got a huge ammount of work ahead, going to chop the whole front skin off around the headlights, this will stop the hump skin giving double the thickness. updates as i go though!!!!

This is todays effort, got alot done.
