Ive got a jap import Supra and the rear fog light has been fitted at the bottom of the rear bumper. There is a switch on the dash, ive looked at the loom on the light, it has 2 wires that run up to the rear brake light. The fog only comes on when the sides are turned on as it should.

My question is can someone help me wire it so that i can removed the extra light and the switch operates one in the rear cluster. I have uk spec rear lights on my car i think:

If I remember correctly mate, in the connecter on the car loom for the rear lights there should be a purple wire, that is the fog light on mine. Not sure what wire it goes to on the light cluster as there a different colour. See if you have a purple wire...

Ok thanks i'll have a look. The fog switch on the indicator stalks does nothing at all. It is purely the switch on the dash that has been added.

But i assume if i have the loom with the fog light wiring i could just splice straight into this?

The switch on the indicator stalk is for the front fog lights. The UK Supra was factory fitted with rear fog lights the switch (part number 84165-14010) was mounted to the right of the ignition.
