Guest razor Posted November 22, 2012 Share Posted November 22, 2012 Howzit all i need some insite i have a mk4 94 na supra and have dropped in a 2jzgte single turbo conversion my car runs hot i have replaced the raidiator with an after market one and 2 12inch elec fans i have to admit our temperatures here in south africa are quite hot in summer the car runs cool in winter but hey summer time is time to play i have been advised to remove the thermostat i do reallise that it regulates water flow and temp but is there any other solution to get her to run a little cooler Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Fit a proper water temp gauge as they all feel stupidly hot to be honest and the stock gauge in the dash doesn't tell you much. Do you have any gauges on the car ? water temp, oil temp, egt ? Guest razor Posted November 23, 2012 Share Posted November 23, 2012 There are and hand full of supras here in SA no jokes when i say there is plus minus 12 that are legaly registered all that i have seen have front mount intercoolers non have heating problems could be that my cooler is a cheap shit my radiator to as was bought from the same store probably chinease kuk so i think i gonna get hold of a mitshimo rad and a bigger cooler and 2 decent fans only thing is gonna sit me bak a few bob i do have a temp guage just need to install it Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
