probably not helpful :p but i got the same problem with my niehgbours cat. done this about 4 -5 times now. i park my car in a bay where behind is a small 1-2foot high wall. and it only happens when i park head in first. now i always reverse park, and has not happened since.

brainstorm... how about polishing the bonnet so much that it gets really slipperly, its a win win situation, car looks nice and shiny and cat keeps sliding off :p now to find the polish that can do that....

seriously orange peel does work, when i was at uni one of my housemates had a problem with the cats in our area using the concrete platform outside his bedroom window as a toilet so he dumped an orange peel out there once a week and they never came back!

That would be the citrus init, they hate :p
