Non interference to interference?

Ok can anybody answer this for me.

I'm about to fit the TT pistons in my GE engine, and I'm wanting to fit some ttc 264 duration cams with 9.14mm lift. ( stock cams are 8.26mm lift inlet and 8.41mm lift exhaust).

Also the TT pistons have more of a shallow recess for the valves to sit as the GE pistons have a deeper recess.

Here is a picture of the piston differences.

So my question is: will this now make my engine a interference engine?

Thanks guys :)

HKS cams on a 2JZ-GTE are non interference, the only aftermarket cams I know are interference are the 10.8mm lift JUN 272 cams.

Thanks nic for your reply

Yeah but the GTE has a thicker headgasket so the valves sit further away from the pistons, so with me losing over 1mm on just the pistons them selfs then close to another 1mm from valve lift then with the addition of a thinner headgasket compared to that of a GTE.

Then I'm starting to think it will become a interference engine?

Hopfully someone will be along soon to answer my question :)
