safcdixon Posted November 13, 2012 Share Posted November 13, 2012 Hi fellas, im looking for recaro seat rails but im unsure as too what im looking for, are all the rails the same except the mounting points? Also would i be able too get a set of stock supra seats and swap the rails over or again are these different? Geo Posted November 13, 2012 Share Posted November 13, 2012 As joe has said, you can fab the stock rails to fit, but its a major pain in the hole. You need to get hold of a seat of Stock Recaro Rails which will fit perfect, but there are rare as rocking horse poop, or use Bride RO rails, these fit perfect also but are about £200 each, not including delivery Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guigsy Posted November 13, 2012 Share Posted November 13, 2012 Yep they are a pita to find. I have some buckets mounted in my other car. And they sit higher. It makes the car wierd to drive and the rear view mirror gets in the way of your view. k2supra Posted November 13, 2012 Share Posted November 13, 2012 I put the recaro DC2 seats (recaro Speed) into my supra using the bride RO rails, fit and finish is top notch. Supra Gaz Posted November 13, 2012 Share Posted November 13, 2012 The bride rails are not only expensive but also rare, the only place I know that sells them with them in stock is RHD Japan. As mentioned you can play with the stock rails a bit to get them on, if you are tall it will be a ball ache though because you will sit quite high unless you properly cut them up.
