Anyone running 20" wheels? A few questions.

HI All,

Just wondered if anyone on here is running 20" wheels on their cars? What do you think of the ride with these wheels? I have 18" at the minute and the ride is still pretty hard, would there be much difference between these and 20"?

Also, what kind of tyres would you recommend to run on 20" wheels? would 245/35/ZR20 be ok for the supra to keep the correct ride height?

Cheers

Peter

If you stay with the stock-like rolling radius, then 20's will be awful.

They look awful too, as the Supra simply doesn't have the arches to take that size wheel.

Stick with 18 and a sensible sidewall.

To be honest, the wheels in the film were 19" and i have 18" veilsides at the minute. I got a hold of 17" BK322 wheels which look similar but they look too small on the car. so since i may be able to find som similar ones in 20" with 245/35/ZR20 tyres, i was considerin going up instead, just not sure on ride height, look or comfort.

Mine handles better on 20's and imo looks 1000 times better. Rears are 275/30/20's and fronts are 245/35/20. Ride is BETTER on these than on my old 18's running a 225/255/40/18! Only arch work was rolling the lip, other than that, no scrubbage or issues. And it's lowered 40mm too!

Haha, i'd love to mate but they've been out of production for a while and are getting as hard to come by as the real ones in our stud pattern. Even contacted BK Direct to see if they had any left over ion the warehouse or something but the answer was a negative :(

Thanks Ben, but unless they are Racing Hart M5's or close looking wheels they'd be of no use. :(

Thanks for the info guys.

I wouldn't want to be rolling the arches but i have stock suspention.

Might just give it a miss if it'd mean rolling arches and stuff.

Theres a dude on jne doing arch rolling really cheap or you can rent the roller from him and diy it, i asked the otherday but aint had a reply yet like.
