Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a Supra and have notived that the N/A are more plentiful/easier to find. In your opinion, or maybe some of you have done this, Is it easier to just buy a Turbo'd model or spend the funds to convert a N/A. I'm sure this has probably been mentioned before, just haven't had time to cruise the forums. Any response or links are very much appreciated.

Thanks:) I knew I would get a "use the search function" response, and I plan on doing so when I get more time. My apologies for asking a "newb" question. I know better from being on other forums. Just wanted to hear some opinions. The turbo'd models are harder to find (obviously), and the numbers are dwindling. Just seemed the next step would be find an N/A model and go from there. THE SEARCH BEGINS

Thanks Nic! Greetings from across the pond! Still nice to get feedback from others (damn americans are so closed minded! lol). I will check that forum out as well. Have a great day fellas!

Another reason I came across this site was that it was targeted more at MK IV's. Is the price really that big of a difference there? Do you guys pay more or less? Heck I can move if its cheaper!

What's the average price of a TT in the states? Can pick one up for around £5,000 or $8000 dollars here. Sometimes even cheaper.

It's usually cheaper to buy a TT than convert an N/A but if you find a really tidy N/A example that's perfect and have the cash you can convert it to TT. Just depends what's available to you.

From what I have seen any factory turbo Supra is going from at least $15000 USD on up. The average I would say on a good MK IV would be around 20-25k USD. N/A MK IV from around 10-15K USD in good condition. So I would say its cheaper there, lol. Also, most of the turbo'd supras here have been converted to single turbo. I don't see too many supra turbos that are unmolested. I do see a few N/A's though. I wonder what the cost would be to buy one overseas and ship it here? Customs would probably be a big pain in the A$$.

Also they would be right hand drive unless you got a eurospec supra. Which would be just as expensive as US spec ones I imagine. Beat bet would be to get a us spec :)
