Chances are its the NA coil! Most NA-t guys suffer from this once they stick a turbo on!

Basically the old worn NA coil starts to brake down under boost! This is why when you are not full throttle it runs fine.

Would I be right in saying it happends around 4000-4500rpm at full throttle and its like hitting a rev limiter?

You can buy a second hand coil of Keron for pennies on here like I did and it worked! But remember they are second hand So are also quite old so they work perfectly fine on an NA engine but its the extra boost makes theses old coil packs brake down.

If this one starts to brake down on me I will just buy brand new from Toyota so I know it will work a 100% ;)

I was thinking of selling the car as soon as I get it sorted , don't really want ti as I do really like it , will there be much demand for a non aspirated turbo conversion , I hope I don't loose much on it ?
