The T04Z is one of the fastest spooling, agressive turbos out there and even though it may be old, it was WELL ahead of its time.

Depends what you wants - if its ZERO lag, incredible boost in an instant, aggressive acceleration then the T04Z is for you :)

Both great kits from what I hear :D

Both produce amazing results!

But I've always liked the sound of the T04Z on boost so that wins it for me ;)

only because you went in mine ;)

like its been said. the T04z may be abit of an old design but its a good one, and sounds epic

Both very nice kits, Dont be fooled into thinking the HKS is old hat, they are still superb, check this thread, the HKS manifold kicks the crap out of the full race twin wastegate manifold

Lee P has a HKS turbo kit with no turbo i know he is looking to flog.

HKS and a Precison turbo T67 CEA but if it just between full race and HKS T04Z I would go HKS!

Just because somebody engineered something recently doesnt make it better! HKS did it over a decade back !

In the Words of RyanG "Precision T67cea FTW! No other turbo suits a 2jzgte better"

I was really considering a T67 after seeing it strapped to Jamie's car at 550 and 630hp. The way it delivers boost through the rev range is exactly what I want for a fast road/track car. I've then since seen the new batmowheel borg warners setup's which has also got me interested..

Decisions decisions..

I have not seen any good batmowheel borg warners turbo graphs yet has any one got one that they could post up.

The HKS T04Z kit is very good quality and includes absolutely everything you need for the conversion down to the last nut, bolt, etc.

It would be easy to blank off the flange on the down pipe, it may also be possible to use the connector pipe (the short one on the rhs of pic with the flexy section) in the kit and just turn it around on the V-band flange to act as a screamer pipe. This would give you the option of reconnecting it at a later date if you got tired of the noise.
