Scoboblio
Just got two 15" neon tubes for the footwells I've seen various posts regarding fitting them but I'm going to ask a question anyway I've already got footwell lights in the car (pathetic little green things), can I simply nick the wiring off these and hook up the neon directly? As in expose the bare wires of the existing light and splice them to the +ve -ve of the neon? I seriously doubt it's that easy but I live in hope
JustGav
Provided you have the inverter for the neons connected to the 12v feed you will be fine, it is not a matter of simply just plugging the raw tube into 12v. TDax
suprafish
I've done this and connected a small switch in as well, looks fairly sweet, just have to locate the starters somewhere, not too hard.
