ADD Posted September 28, 2012 Share Posted September 28, 2012 Chaps, I have bottled out of fitting the uk brakes to my car and got a good garage to do it. Prob is one of the front and rear callipers are leaking were the flexy hose screws into the callipers, apparently the surface is pitted badly so they are gonna put new copper washers in and see how it goes. BOB B Posted September 28, 2012 Share Posted September 28, 2012 Yes I've had it, I have UK brakes and sometimes they split on the casting at that exact spot, especially if they have been over tightened, if you have the car up and you get under the rear of the calliper and shine a good light on it you can see it seeping out the crack.
