Do luck front with intercooler piping?

Well im just trying to find out basically what pipe I need from the intercooler to manifold to avoid cutting the bumper like here -

This is the pipe thats there now joining to a kind of long "S" shaped one into the manifold -

Does anyone know what pipe I need? Thanks

All the ones I have seen are cut. Its what put me off the do luck in the end.

What about rob mitchells? I dont think hes is cut? There must be another smaller U bend pipe you can get but then where does the dump valve go

You can put the dump valve any where on the pipework fella, could you not shorten the bend slightly and move your coooler closer to the rad?

Mine was never cut, not sure what diameter my pipe was. You could put on a smaller diameter pipe but then you would need to get another bov flange and weld that onto the new pipe and new silicon joiners to fit the new pipe

Yeah I suppose I could now ive removed the aircon stuff. Just means I need to find a welder that can modify the pipework, unless theres a pre made pipe you can get?

Its 3" but even reducing to a 2" will still only give me another half inch clearance. it seems as if the pipe needs to be back another 2" to clear.

Theres loads of place that weld s/s or you could just cut the pipe and join it with silicone couplers, and move the bov somewhere else (i would as it looks like it seen abit of salt etc)

We had to cut Rob's a little.

Move the intercooler as far back it will go and see what difference that makes

He cut it down in a straight line first. Then there still wasn't enough clearance so we cut a round notch out on the turbo side to clear.

What about moving the intercooler down ? then the pipe would sit below the vent

That would have to move down a long way to clear the vent and you'll see half an intercooler poppin up in the gap. I reckon I can move the intercooler back a couple of inches then cut the new bumper back as neccesary.

Had my intercooler from Whifbitz and i never needed to cut my bumper at all.

This is the set up I keep seeing, how does your intake pipe run do you know?

Are these any help to you, my car is in pieces at the minute so i can measure bends etc if needed.

Yeah thats great thanks! Where is your BOV mounted? Also where can I get this pipe or did you have it made up?

Bov is a HKS SSQV, but mounted in the stock location, but all the pipework came as a kit from Whifbitz, it included all bends, blue hose couplers, and clamps.

Its close, but mine has got a different radius on the rounded part at the bottom.

Thanks mate exactly what I need. I'll probably end up making one once the coolers in place out of couplers and 90 bends.
