Hey guys i have obviously fitted aftermarket kits at work to customers cars and i know fitment can/most of the time is a joke. Now im a little anal when it comes to having the genuine parts on my car and you would think the fitment would be spot on for the money we pay........ doluck bonnet..... fitment....... crap!! £1400 down the drain! SO, im now thinking about new doluck side skirts and front doluck wings! can you still get the copy wings??????

Any links to the wings is much appreciated guys? I seriously dont trust genuine after my bonnet FAIL

if you paid that much for the bonnet why did you just not bring it back ?

I bought it privately mate! no returns ect. Didnt buy it direct from them but i did read about a dodgy batch of moulds, so i guess mine was one of them.

Then sold it to Jamie, so he could get a nur-luck bonnet made by Noel! which i then bought, then sold it! now wish i didnt lol:d

sumo power all the way dude...

Yeah thats fair enough if they let me fit the parts then i pay! :search:, The bonnet drama crippled me mate as i lost a sum on that. The only thing i am tempted by is the mirrors and rear spoiler but i have definately seen copy wings and side skirts

I know what you mean mate... Had my Do-Luck bumper from Sumo Power and luckily it was a good fit but have heard of bad fittment even from the top brands

I have been looking at Copy Do-Luck wings and have not had any luck so I'm looking to go through Sumo again for at one stage

Wings will really give that better look from the front and get rid of that horrible edge round the sides for a nice smooth finish

The wings i have definately seen. I agree it looks lovely with the wider part next to the headlight and they flow nice with the doluck side skirts. I very doubt i will buy from sumo, not got a problem with them, i just seriously cant be asked to blow huge wedge on bodykit anymore...

I'm with you on this, I need the wings, I have a genuine type 1 Do luck front, it fits perfectly, you just have that extra bit on the wings where the wide ones would fit flush.

I will be keeping an eye on this thread.

I usually buy customers kits through madmotors as they do some nice fitting replica kits, they did sell the wings but no longer do by the look of it. Im sure Jazz sent me a link to ebay usa once upon a time but i cant find the trader on there now either lol. Must be about.

my wings are copies. and the fitment is shocking. plus mine didn't come with headlight mounts, never having seen wings off the car i didn't realise this so had to hack off the mounts to support the lights. needless to say ive lost out selling the OEM wings because of it.

if I was going to get doluck wings again, copy or not, I'd probably try and mould them to the OEM ones to ensure fitment is spot on. bending them and pushing them to fit is a nightmare. and regardless to what anyone says, they are not all 25mm. I have 25mm spacers, the wheels meet the arch whereas before they used to be set inside the arch. if they were 25mm i wouldn't of seen a difference in wheel-to-arch distance yet the spacer pushed the wheel to the archs limit. not saying they are all like that, but if you do get some before you get spacers definitely fit the wings and measure it as ive narrow fronts. your sexeh wheels may be pushed too far if you use 25mm spacers and get some dodge copies.

ugp said his wings were a pain to get to fit right as well. only other person i know who has recently fitted some. jazz has some as well, his fitment look pretty good.
