spraying wheels to look like carbon fibre ?

just a curiosity i am looking at buying a new car and carbon fibre look wheels would set it off.

there volk ce28 wheels and im wondering if anyone knows a wheel refurb company that would spray/powdercoat them to look like carbon fibre for me ?

You can't spray or powder coat to look like carbon it's impossible. Search carbon dipping it's the only way you can do it

I have some tartan paint left over here if it is of any use to you??

I dont think carbon paint exists! You could get an artist to airbrush a carbon effect on. You could try and vinyl wrap them and lacquer over it. Short of that you could also get the wheels skinned in carbon but im not sure what effect this would have on balance etc. Can't think of any other ways.

I have carbon paint. It is next to my bucket of angle grinder sparks.

It would take an artist sooooo many hours by the time he's handed you the bill you could have purchased carbon wheels plus no artist could get the look perfect.

Wrap would not last 5mins even with a top coat and skinning again won't be cost affective

Same as you'd do with any WTP company, i haven't used these guys but gave them as an example for the OP

carbon dipping mate, am waiting for a shop near me to get the ball rolling so we can advertise some options..

they just need to get the finished product better as if now they still need some practice as its a new venture for them.

The finish looks amazing here. Was looking into this ages ago myself, would be interested to see how anyone gets on with theirs.
