And so it begins... Enjoy :eyebrows:

Heres the car before I get started -

After months of deciding what kind of look to go for I have finally settled on a blended in body look but with an agressive stance at the same time. Im still unsure what rear spoiler to go for yet but for now I have got some extra wide veilside overfenders, blitz skirts, do luck front and trial rear which should get me started.

Ive started by cleaning up the under body where the trial rear will be covering as once this is on, its on! So I pulled the rusty old fuel tank cover off and replaced it with another better one with some special treatment to prevent any future rusting, then a healthy few coats of stone chip.

Also done the crash bar and from the rear subframe back -

Next was the rusty old radiator support panel that was annoying me so that came out and I welded another in with some more protection against corrosion -

Well thats that, so now for the arch modification to take the wider wheels :eyebrows: -

Taking measurements from how much clearence the existing wheels had from the arch, I only needed to take about 30mm off for the wider wheels to clear once the wider arches were on.

attachment.php?attachmentid=165706&stc=1&d=1363108989

Now the welding and rust is out the way im going to test fit the body parts to see how they measure up and then get on with some fabricating.

Thanks for the positive comments guys :) I havent really settled on a specific colour yet but I have always liked kawasaki green (the one used on the newest models) and thought it would suit the car perfect. Ive seen alot of kawasaki green cars and it seems theres about 20 different shades of that colour but with only the newest one that really looks cool! As for the gearbox im gunno stick with an auto as I want to achieve some fast drag times so im going for the stage 2 titan race box with a high stall torque converter.

I didnt really do alot I just finished the main shaping of the wings and filler primered ready for flatting down -
