Hi all, I have been a member here for a little while but have never posted.

I am very fond of the Supra, however I must confess that I am a Soarer owner, I hope this isn't a problem!

Here is my motor, a 1996 Black on Black UZZ31:

I registered here because many parts are interchangeable with my car, and while mine is geared up for comfort, your cars are set up for performance. I'm trying to find a happy medium between the two.

Cheers all,

Andy

Thanks mate, I was expecting a grilling for not owning a Supra lol.

I live near Kettering and not very often on Welly road, also no dents :)

There's a few in npton though.

I'd like to come along to a supra meet at some point

Welcome mate. We need a meet. have not had one for yonks!

Of you want a supra I have a uk spec for sale :p.

I borrowed a soarer once. It was a nice drive.

If you ever need parts from a supra try silverstone garage in silverstone. They usualy have a breaker or 2 in.

Welcome to the club, no grilling for not owning a Supra, we love all decent cars :)

An on saying that your car looking great!! Do you have any interior shots? Were these the ones fully loaded with the nice seats and dash? Also what is the rear seats like, can you get adults in the back?

Thanks for the comments and tips guys. To answer a few questions:

The Supra parts I would like are mostly handling related. I bought an A01B torsen from a user on here last week. I am looking for a set of k sport brakes, and either an r154 or v160 conversion in the future.

Well spotted, its not a VVTi... they never made Soarer V8s as VVTi, which makes this car one of the last V8s made. Fully loaded, black leather, electric heated seats, alpine double din DVD CD all that stuff.

I'd love to buy a supra, but I need the room in the back (easily fits 2 adults or 2 kids with car seats) and also need the boot space.

So when's the next meet round this way? I may just show up.

Make the meet quick if were going to do it, bad weather is due next week!

I'd be up for a meet either tomorrow at 11 ish (I have to get stuff done at 1400) or maybe Sunday mid day? Anyone up for it?

I live near Kettering

So how about Sunday 11AM?

The white lion in geddington is a good pub with a decent sized car park, unless anyone has a better venue?

I met David p at a nice little country pub. No idea where it was though

The lilacs inn nn14 1hd looks a bit closer for us this die and has a nice carpark

Alternatively I went to a vr4 meet at the fox inn nn14 3ed which was a very nice place. Great food. Good chips!

Lilacs Inn looks good. So anyone else interested, and is Sunday at 11 ok?

Saturday I can, Sunday I can't.

Sorry to hear that mate, be good to catch up some other time though.

Are we all definitely on for tomorrow 11AM at Lilacs Inn, Isham then?
