Power steering help.

Ok I've relocated my pas tank to the bulk head, now the tank has been fitted slightly higher than the pump so the ps fluid can run down.

Now I started the car up and the pump is making a horrible sound, I've filled the tant 3 quarters full but am I missing somthing here?

Do I need to bleed it some how? Or do I just start it up and leave it running so it bleeds itself or somthing?

Big thanks for any help and advice here guys ;)

Jack the front of the car up so the wheels are just off the ground, raise the tank above the pump and without the engine running turn the steering about 20 full locks each way continuing to fill the tank as you go. Start the car and repeat. Put the cap on and take it for a drive. If there's any air left in it will escape from the cap as there self bleeding caps. Unless you've got a shiney cover on it.
