"TAKEN FROM A 2000 MITSUBISHI EVOLUTION 6

TOMMI MAKINEN EDITION"

Apparently these have been used on a supra before any ideas on fitment or I'd they'd be any good?

Due to lack of cash I won't be bidding so feel free!!

I recall, from years past, that while Evo brakes fit, they are a downgrade from UK spec brakes?

I don't recall hearing that, unless they use a smaller diameter disc i don't see why they

wouldn't be as good if not better.

Very expensive though and new Brembo 4 piston fronts are going to be around £2500 ish

Surely it's the calliper that'll make the difference in this situation... FWIW I remember reading similar to Ian's thoughts, but can't recall the exact context. Someone did it.

Bigger diameter disc gives you more braking power as well as the caliper size/piston size.

I'm not saying its not the case but don't see why they would be a downgrade to UK specs,

i don't know the spec on the Brembo's or have ever used them so was just thinking in an engineering

fashion as to why.

Found some more this time from a 2005 impreza STi.... Would they fit/ made to fit easily/cheaply and would this be of benefit rather than uk brakes (I'm guessing it will be an improvement from the j specs)

I'm pretty sure the Brembos on an Evo and/or Subaru will fit - My mate fitted some Brembos from a Scooby to his Evo4 easy enough
