Is Leaded Race fuel such as 118octane 76Prostock, usable in a decatted supra?
ie if it's used say at one meet (RWYB etc). Is the only thing it can bugger up, the O2 sensors? Or can it have adverse effects inside the engine?
replacing or cleaning an O2 sensor wouldn't be the worst thing in the world...although I would have thought that if you say ran a tank or Optimax with Toluene it would clean the O2 sensor without the need to remove it...
(This is all of course assuming your running a map to take advantage of a cleanly burn the 118 octane fuel.)

would it be worth getting for a decatted supra with stock ecu. it would be more fore safety to stop det.

whats anyones experiences with race fuel
When I was having my car mapped it was reccomended I use Klotz 118 race fuel. I havent used it on the strip yet though so cannot comment on what it is like there but do know that Richie Beaumont uses it.
I take it that is leaded Race fuel?
I believe it's "safe" to use but I'd just like it confirmed.
(and no Monkey, it's not for a stock TT with a decat ;) )

I'm under the impression that highly oxygenated fuel is "more powerful" than standard pump fuel and that high octane fuel "allows" more power to be produced (by upping the boost etc)
Is that correct? ie could I get the same power from 100 octane fuel which is highly oxygenated as I could from higher octane standard oxygenated fuel.

i ran my car with 97 octane+3 point octane booster on a rwyb and my fastest time was 13.01sec 1/4. so went back following day using cool blue 116 octane, and she did not respond as good. best time for me on that day was 13.5sec 1/4. hpoe that helps?

A) I'm not talking about a standard ECU'd car and
B) My questions were
i) can you use LEADED race fuel safely in a Decatted car?
ii) is oxygenated fuel more "powerful" than fuel with standard oxygenation levels? Therefore meaning you don't need to crank the boost so high to feel the benefit.
Alex there are loads of different criteria with fuel.There are specific turbo fuels which will allow more boost/anti det than 118 leaded, but have a lower MON rating. A lot is down to additives.
Yeah the no. of different blends out there is quite frightening hence me trying to work out what's good.
I'm pretty sure the stuff to go for is Oxygenated ~106 octane rather than 118octane leaded...as you'll actually get more power from the former.
it's a cost thing. 118 is relatively cheap in comparison to specific turbo fuel
