How much harder does BPU pull vs stock?

I've had a fewTT 6-speed Supra's.. the most for mods was just intake, intercooler, and exhaust. I've never done the full decat and experienced anything past 0.7bar.

I'm just wondering once you do all the BPU mods or even go into TTC mode, and pushing about 100bhp or so over stock... does it pull much harder vs stock and is it noticeable.

I find the stock TT 6-speed very quick but not exactly that fast.

Well.. I hope to be blown away once I do all my BPU mods :)

I found it in my auto as stock......pretty linear acceleration and then the second turbo kicks in and you accelerate a bit quicker.

BPU....put your foot down lots more turbo whistle accelerate a bit quicker then stock, second turbo kicks in and you bloody know about it and you smile :D

Since BPU I make sure i am holding the wheel with two hands.

What makes a full on Bpu car.... see some folk with very different mods to others and to me infact.

Based on what I remember you have the BPU mods but you just need to set the boost controller to set it 1.2 bar as at the moment you are probably at around 1 bar, once you up the boost you'll have a big smile on your face :D

My BPU is, HKS intake filter - 3" first de-cat - 2.5" second de-cat - blitz nur spec - Walbro 225lph - Greddy profec B spec 1 - colder plugs - 1bar RR and Greddy BCC

I was actually just about to order the HKS Fuel Cut Defender... but I've also read that it might be better to have a Boost Cut Controller?

which do you guys think is better? I'm not sure which to go with now.

Why do you feel it more in the auto then the 6 speeds ? Is it down to the number of gears and the speed at which you travel through the gear ?

It is more the rapid change in the gears which gives that effect, the speed is more or less the same.

Mine is running 0.8 bar of boost I think unless I had a boost leak when I first checked it. Even though I'm not running 1.2 bar of boost is seems so fast. Can feel the second turbo kicking in but the power still feels smooth I think.

I was asking someone recently how much difference it would make if I got a boost controller and put the boost up to 1.2 bar.

Need to sort out boost leak first though as its only reading just over 0.7 bar now :(

Probably because in 6-speeds you are in control and know when the boost is going to happen ;)
