Power steering rack

Anyone fitted a power steering rack to their mkiv? I'm buying one from a lad on here shortly and was going to stick it in a garage but if it's not too much of a fart on I'll do it myself

I imagine its similar to any rack change, really.
You may have to drop the crossmember a little for access?

If you've done one before......... get the spanners out.
If you're limit is basic servicing ....... book it in.

I'm terrible with motors (but now set out learning). My mate who does my work has done quite a bit (changing engines etc.). So it shouldn't be TOO bad then? :stupid:
