hello after pulling my supra out the garage (+ renewing my membership lol) i picked up a set of bucket seats i was hoping to fit.. there unbranded and came with universal runners..how do i go about fitting them? do i need to weld flat bar across and bolt them (i did this in my clio years ago but im not sure it would do the job) or trying knock up something from the orignal seat runners? any info would be much help thank you :D

no welding should be needed man,Use your new seats and attach the runners of you old seats too them, ive done it twice now with no issues however ive obviously not seen the seats you have.

I fitted honda seats in mine and they went straight in

the seats are smaller than the supra frames... the bolting points are 14" apart instead of 16" so i was thinking.. weld a small flat bar across on the front runner then a large piece of tube on the back.. grind off the fixing points and weld them to the bar then screw the universal runners to the flat bar.. would this be viable?? any info would be great thanks :D

That would work, be carful to get it right first time or you have to start all over again.
