GoPro Hero HD 2 is considered one of the best..

Not sure if it is classified as cheap though, so my post is useless to you, please ignore it.

Well I would recommend a few options around that budget (you might have to stretch a little)

1) HDHero2 Motorsports Edition (http://www.awooza.com/uk/catalog/product/view/id/172680?aff_code=gg) can get it around the £200 mark. Very simple and easy to use, great quality too. Most expensive of the lot tho

2) Toshiba Camileo P100 (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Toshiba-Camileo-P100-Video-Camcorder/dp/tech-data/B004UJAUDO/ref=de_a_smtd). Just above £100, again very simple and easy to use. 1080p recording at 30 fps.

3) Toshiba Camileo X400 http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5635858.htm?CMPID=GS001&_$ja=tsid:11527%7Ccc:%7Cprd:5635858%7Ccat:photography+%2F+photography+%2F+camcorders+and+accessories+%2F+camcorders+%2F

Just over your budget, but I would recommend this over the P100, has the ability to take 1080p video at 30fps for slower shots and 720p video at 60 fps for shots that have fast movement (perfect for in car footage etc)

Honestly there isn't a lot of options available around the £120 mark but I would recommend paying a tiny bit more for the X400 as it really is one of the best contenders for performance at that price level.
