Whats this button for?...its not the Red button either .

Found this silver button near the bonnet catch but have no idea what its for, ive got in touch with the guy i bought it from and he said its possibly for the active spoiler.....(it doesnt have one) so curiousity kicked in and i pressed it[sHOCK][/sHOCK] nothing happened so any ideas?

Maybe cuts out the engine - My dad has a similar button but its a red button.

I had a little red button on my first Supra in the same position, can't for the life of me remember what it did. Does you alarm have a remote start function? I had a little toggle next to the red button that would enable/disable the remote start function

Definitely looks like oil squirters from the rear bumper. A custom mod I have already been asked to smooth in twice this week alone.

Hahaha nice answers guys but i really want to know what its for, i dont have a remote start fitted to the car....well maybe i need to look up the alarm info and see if it could possibly be something to do with the alarm .

Try the button at night with the headlights on, my money is on either fog lights or some sort of extra light.

Hmmm could be i guess, i know its not the front fog lights as there on the stalk, i have no rear fog light that is visable so there is a chance its for a fog light. two good possibilitys now.

My guess is integrated rear fog light switch. As Abz said wait til it's dark, turn the lights on and flip the switch a few times.

If is a push switch, does it click into place, or is it just like your washer jet button where you have to hold it in, it wont automatically stay in.

its a button that wont stay in mate, just been out and tried it with the lights on and its nothing for a rear fog light. makes no sound when i press it, nothing changes either but must be there for a reason.

i cant hear it powering anything like a motor , i dont have washer jets for the headlights too .
