Mines ECU help needed

Ok so I fitted the ECU and went to start the car

It's starts but only for a few seconds then cuts out

I even swapped back and fourth with my standard ECU and the same problem

So I emailed mines and got this response

Allan,

If the stock serial number on that VX-ROM reads 14610, it IS for a manual transmission Toyota Supra JZA80 2JZ-GE (NA)

When it left our hands it was written to run on 100 RON octane rated fuel.

Fuel mapping and Ignition timing optimized

Speed limiter cut

Rev limit +600 from stock

Best Regards,

So I know it is for my car

So I then took the covers off and one of the components has black marks on the legs and motherboard

So I'm thinking this may of blown

Can these be repaired easily or do they need to be sent back to mines?

Cheers

Al

Mines wont touch it now that you have opened it as any warranty ect would be void, I may be wrong as obviously you are not after a refund ect. Did you defiantly tighten up the screw as when I installed mine I had not wound it in enough so it didn't even turn over or run??

Well the seals had already been broken

No not after a refund just want it fixed

I'm not sure what car it came out of but mines have said its for a 5 speed and what they did to the ECU

I'm pretty sure I tightened the screw enough as I tried it various times

Another concern of mine is that if this ECU is for a standard 5 speed n/a and I've done a bit to mine so maybe there is too much conflict?
