Going to be giving Ibrar a hand getting the red beast to SRR tomorrow so Ryan can do his

thing under the bonnet.

I spent a couple of hours this afternoon tracking down a big enough trailer to get it on and

eventually found one in Barwell which i'll be collecting in the morning.

I shall post a few photo's of the day as we go, im glad the Landcruisers got air con :)

Careful with Barwell trailers, the guy that runs it is a complete Pr^&k! We rented a trailer, and when we returned it he tried telling us we had curbed the wheel…we hadn't. ( There was a 15mm long curb mark on the very edge of one trailer wheel, that we are sure we didn't inflict.) Anyway, he insisted that he get a quote for it to be refurbished before he would refund our security deposit. He came back with a bullshit quote of £120 for one steel wheel!

We told him the wheels were available brand new from Brian James for about £40. So we bought him one brand new wheel and had it sent directly too him….and we never saw our deposit again, total co76sucker!! Just make sure that you check it very thoroughly before you drive away, and make sure that you point out any marks already on it. We think thats how he makes his money to be honest, ripping people off. He was content to rip us off even though we had rented it in the name of, and to do a job for, one of the biggest classic car magazines in the UK! And we told him that!

If you replaced the wheel, what reason did he give you for not giving you your deposit back?

Good morning Ryan, top job yesterday mate, Ibrar is well pleased

It was amusing at 03:30 this morning trying to push his car into the workshop.

Off to B'ham now :)

Good job the weather's lovely to keep you going. I'd still be dead to the world if I'd have had such a long day!

Can't wait to see the results and more importantly, a video :eyebrows:
