How come so many supras that are up for sale get sold to buyers in Finland?

Ive noticed a large number sold to overseas buyers from their in the past, and now ive had an offer on my car from a buyer in Finland as well.

Has anyone got any experience of selling to overseas buyers? Are there any things to look out for? what sort of things do i need to consider as a seller to make the transaction go smoothly?

You just need to consider the same as over here - they hand over cash, you take it to bank and make sure it's legit, they drive car away!

I sold my UK spec to a French buyer and it was painless and easy. They need to sort paperwork their end, you send the usual bits of the V5 off. I found it easier than dealing with a UK buyer to be honest - their MoT style laws are tougher than ours so they have to be very clued up as to what they're buying.

Because the Finns are CRAZY people, who love going sideways! My dad lives over there and a mate of his took me out in a rally spec scooby at stupid speeds in the snow. Most fun I've had in the passenger seat of a car. EVER!
