spikedjack
Hi guys, recently booked a courier to send my transmission package to a forum memeber in Norway, however the courier is requesting an EORI number. Does anyone have any experiance of this and what it involves? Due to it being a Non EU country apparently and seems quite long winded so any help will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks
garethr
http://customs.hmrc.gov.uk/channelsPortalWebApp/channelsPortalWebApp.portal?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=pageVAT_ShowContent&id=HMCE_PROD1_028598&propertyType=document You could call HMRC and find out if you actually need one. Surely every individual who sends a package out of the EU doesn't have to go through this?
EMPEROR
In my country, EORI number is required only for the recipient when importing something from a country outside EU. When the package is at the customs you need EORI number to take it. EORI for the one sending is required only if you make a company export or temporary export of some goods.
