SZ over heating problems. Theromostat location?

Hi all, as some of the dragonballers will know while on the road I was having some car issues.

The supra in question is a NA 5 speed, the car was initially getting a build up of pressure as the top rad hose was going very hard and hot, I have kept my speeds low and had to keep the heater on full to keep temps low.

Since returning Im not using it unless necessary. The rad hose is now doing the opposite and is sucking in, and seems to be pumping all the coolant into the expansion bottle.

On a quick journey today the top rad hose was hot but bottom was cold.

So I want to take the thermostat out and change if needed can anyone help as to if its located on the top hose or bottom? Done a search and havent found its location.

Thanks Jake

Follow your bottom rad hose back to where it joins the lower water neck poking out the back of the water pump housing. If you remove the bottom hose, then undo the two 12mm nuts that hold the aforementioned water neck on, the thermostat is located between it and the water pump housing. It will just fall/pull out once you have the water neck off. :)
