Different types of hybrid turbos

ive got basic refurb ones all mine are is steal internals, so guess stage 1, tell you what else i have is a set of jspec turbos no manifold, the ceramics are chipped due to removal perfect for refurb and car stays on road, also pay them cash and no vat and thier near me

Nothing to do with the strength, all to do with the size. Not handling more boost but creating more. Seriously, do a sewarch for hybrid turbos, read the disappointing stories, forget about it.

 

Thanks for the info :D Its weird how some people have such bad luck with hybrids. If they were more reliable i'd imagine alot of people would use them.

okay cr turbos

all 360 thrust bearing

rebuild with ceramic (no warrenty)

Stage 1= steel internals

stage 2= compressor rebore and larger compressor

stage 3= compressor and turbine rebore with larger compressor and turbine

 

i had the stage 3 and they was bored out alot i was suprised how much posisble 10mm larger overal diamiter intake,this does come at a cost of lag and not much gain.

 

IMO hybrids are not worth it , they can not hold more boost and stay relieable and if going stage 3 you need all the mods for a single turbo so you might aswell just save the £1,200 to put to you single turbo kit
